HolyLand Adventures, our elementary Sunday School program, welcomes children 4 years old through 5th grade.  HolyLand Adventures is a “Rotation” model program. In rotational Sunday School, the same Bible lesson or story is studied for 4 – 6 weeks. Children take part in “hands on” age-appropriate activities as classes rotate weekly to a different media to study the lesson through storytelling, crafts, music, puppets, art, movies, games, cooking, and visits from famous people in the Bible.

A journey through HolyLand Adventures includes The Biblemax Theater Room where movies are viewed and popcorn is consumed.  In Noah’s Tales the children can act out the story or present a puppet story from the deck of the Ark. In The Upper Room the children can visit with Ruth or Mary and Martha and others. Arts and crafts are created in The Art of Eden where a beautiful tree grows. In Daniel’s Lion’s Den, music and games are enjoyed. In the DUMC Newsroom, the children can interview famous people such as Moses or David.  In HolyLand Adventures the children have slain a life-sized Goliath, visited with Jonah while inside the belly of a giant fish, been acquainted with the 12 Disciples, and many other amazing things. What a wonderful and exciting way to experience Sunday School and the Word of God.

A nursery is available for infants through 3 years old.

Photos of our rotational rooms discussed above are available for viewing through the Photos tab.
