We Believe:
At Dewey United Methodist Church, we believe that the support of and participation in Youth Group is a necessary and significant part of our church life. The purpose of Youth Group is to bring our young people together in a life of faith, action, and community, and to address the spiritual, emotional, and social needs that are unique to youth. To attain this we shall provide a nurturing environment and meet regularly to develop a network of Christian relationships, and provide opportunities to serve God through mission work and service projects in order to better understand our role as Disciples of Jesus Christ. Through worship and discussion we will explore our faith and equip our youth with the tools and support needed to flourish as Christians.
The youth ministry of Dewey United Methodist Church strives to meet the needs of the youth in our community through:
  • developing and deepening faith through Bible Study, community service, fellowship and fun;
  • seeking to make disciples of other teens who do not know or have a close relationship with God;
  • setting examples of leadership, service, and actions for others in our community;
  • inviting friends and family into the group so they can experience God’s love.
